TBOA is excited to announce the following continuing educational seminar for Code Enforcement Officials, Building Contractors and Design Professionals. The course can be submitted for approval for State Agency CEU’s in GA, NC, and SC. This course is already approved by the state of TN. It should be acceptable for Architect and Engineer Credits but they have to submit it for approval to the respective agency.
 
Registration is available to the first 49 paid applicants and includes workbook and breaks.  Don’t hesitate as this class will fill up quickly. Participants should bring the 2012 Edition of the International Residential Code to the class.  

2012 IRC Fundamentals Building Provisions. This 6-hour seminar examines critical concepts of the building and energy provisions located in Chapters 1 to 11 of the 2012 International Residential Code(r) (IRC(r)). It provides a basis for the correct use and application of the code and builds on an understanding of the intent of the code through practice with real-world examples.

You may e-mail Keith Bruner at keithbruner@kingsporttn.gov or fax to his attention 423-224-2680 your registration to hold a place. Cash, or check payment will be accepted at the door. If you register but do not attend, there will be a $10.00 no-show charge as TBOA will have to return the workbook and pay shipping charges.
