Knox County Commission - Workshop on Ridge Top Protection Plan
THE KNOX COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS SHALL MEET IN WORKSHOP TO DISCUSS THE RIDGE, SLOPE AND HILLSIDE DEVELOPMENT AND PROTECTION PLAN ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 13, 2011 AT 8:00 A.M. IN THE MAIN ASSEMBLY ROOM OF THE CITY AND COUNTY BUILDING, 400 WEST MAIN STREET.
We’re asking all members to show up in person and be counted - your participation is important!! This issue impacts our industry and we need members to oppose this plan - you, your employees and family members are encouraged to attend.
Please be present before and after the meeting to speak with the commissioners. Be personal, polite and professional and let them know that the current plan is unacceptable. A group of HBAGK members will meet at our office at 7:15 AM prior to the workshop if you would like to join us and drive from there. Contact information for elected officials and a letter stating our position is included with this notice. Additional meetings about this topic will require sustained effort from our members to send a message that we do not support this plan.
