When you think of Crafty Bastard, you might just think of their creative and delicious craft brewing skills. But owner Aaron McClain does so. much. more.

In lieu of our normal August pilgrimage to Hal's (who has sadly sold his house, and with it, his home vineyard), join us at the Crafty Bastard West location for an exclusive tasting of wines from their burgeoning program! As an hommage to Hal, all of the wines have East TN fruit in them, and unlike most commercial southeastern wines, they are not sweet. Instead, they offer a rich range of nuanced flavors and depth. You don't have to have a bottle shipped from California to get a good glass of wine. Aaron will make sure of it.

Our speaker this month is brew master/vintner and familiar face, Aaron McClain. He will be leading us through the tasting which will be sure to delight the finest wine enthusiast. Come for the wine, but stay for the discussion. Aaron will be available to answer any and all questions whether you are looking to start your own wine-making journey or just discovering what East TN wine has to offer!
