Knox Cabinet Company is seeking a polished, detail-oriented cabinetry professional to lead projects from initial client discovery through design, pricing, proposal development, and handoff to operations.
This person must be able to design whole-house cabinetry in Design 2020, price projects accurately using manufacturer catalogs, and create compelling proposals.
This is not a pure sales role and not a pure design role. It is a designer-seller role for someone who combines strong design ability, technical cabinetry knowledge, pricing discipline, and professional client communication.
Lead clients through discovery, design, pricing, and proposal development
Develop whole-house cabinetry designs in Design 2020
Price projects accurately using manufacturer catalogs and pricing tools
Create polished, compelling proposals
Communicate professionally with builders, homeowners, and designers
Revise designs and pricing based on feedback, budget, and field conditions
Maintain organized project documentation throughout the sales process
Coordinate a clean handoff to operations for pre-flight review, ordering, and scheduling
3+ years of cabinetry design and sales experience
Strong proficiency in Design 2020
Experience pricing cabinetry from manufacturer catalogs
Ability to design complete whole-house cabinetry packages
Strong understanding of cabinetry construction, appliance fit, fillers, moldings, and field realities
Strong proposal development and presentation skills
Professional communication and strong attention to detail
Experience with semi-custom or custom cabinetry lines
Builder-facing or design-build experience
Knowledge of the greater Knoxville market
