Sevier Co. STRU Inspection Program Public Forum

Sevier County Government is hosting a Short-Term Rental Unit (STRU) Inspection Program Public Forum to educate STRU owners about the new inspection program that will go into effect on January 1, 2024.

The new inspection program will require all STRUs in Sevier County outside of city limits to have a permit issued annually following a yearly inspection. The inspection program is designed to ensure that STRUs are safe and compliant with all applicable building and fire codes.

Two options are available for the public to attend:

• Tuesday, December 12th from 10 am to 12 pm
• Thursday, December 14th from 3-5 pm

Both forums will be held in the Sevier County Courthouse Commission Room (306W) at 125 Court Ave, Sevierville, TN 37862.

STRU owners are encouraged to attend one of the forums to learn more about the inspection program and how it can benefit them.
