Thank you for volunteering to serve on the HBAGK Membership Committee. We hope that you can attend our next meeting on Wednesday, 9/18 at the HBAGK office. At this meeting we will continue discussion about our Membership Drive set for October 22-24.

THE MISSION OF THE HOME BUILDERS ASSOCIATION OF GREATER KNOXVILLE IS TO REPRESENT AND PROMOTE THE HOME BUILDING INDUSTRY THROUGH EDUCATION, ADVOCACY AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT; CREATING NEIGHBORHOODS FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS. The Home Builders Association of Greater Knoxville, established in 1951, is comprised of over 400 members involved in the construction industry. Our membership is comprised of builders, carpenters, bricklayers, building materials suppliers, bankers, attorneys, insurance agents, and many more building industry professions.
The Home Builders Association of Greater Knoxville includes the following counties in its jurisdiction: ANDERSON, CAMPBELL, CLAIBORNE, FENTRESS, GRAINGER, HAMBLEN, JEFFERSON, KNOX, LOUDON, MONROE, MORGAN, ROANE, SCOTT, and UNION. Membership in the HBAGK includes membership in the Home Builders Association of Tennessee, and the National Association of Home Builders.

The HBAGK is fully committed to “Doing Business With Members”, as is the leadership of the HBAGK. The HBAGK gives back to the community. The HBAGK has built 12 Habitat for Humanity homes in Knox County. In 2011 we partnered with WBIR-TV for the “Labor of Love” project, remodeling two homes for Helen Ashe and Ellen Turner of the Love Kitchen and in 2012 began our second “Labor of Love” project for Childhelp of Knoxville. Coming soon is our third "Labor of Love" for the Sertoma Center.
The HBAGK Governmental Affairs Committee is continuously monitoring building and legislative issues that affect the home building industry. The Association maintains an open line of communication with elected officials and government agencies that impact our members businesses.
