On Thursday, July 28, 2011 the Knoxville Chamber and WBIR-TV will be co-hosting a mayoral debate. The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Auditorium at the Civic Coliseum. The debate will start at 8:00 p.m. and will be broadcast live on WBIR from 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. Additional media partners for the debate are Citadel Broadcasting and the Knoxville News Sentinel.

You will want to be present as this is an opportunity for business people and the general public to learn more about the candidates, particularly their positions on business-related issues. Questions for the candidates will come from a panel, the live audience, and from social media.

Please note that any clothing, buttons, signs, etc. with political or advocacy messages will not be allowed in the Auditorium.
