Labor of Love for Sertoma Center
Raise the Roof for a Sertoma Center Duplex
Sertoma Center is partnering with WBIR, the Home Builders Association of Greater Knoxville and the Knoxville Area Association of Realtors on a Labor of Love project to build a handicapped assessable duplex for individuals with disabilities served by Sertoma Center. On Friday, August 12 and Saturday, August 13, we need volunteers to help "Raise the Roof". We will work to have a 4,000 square foot duplex under roof by the end of Saturday. We need volunteers to help with both light construction (hammering, carrying plywood, measuring wood, wrapping the house) and also in hospitality for the volunteers.
