Kat McDearis is the owner of Green Heron Compost, a company that provides food and yard waste collections as well as other compost services and products. Kat’s goal is to use Green Heron as a means to divert as much waste as possible away from landfills and use the waste as a means to recycle nutrients back into local soils.
