Industry Career Fair Guide

About the Career Fair:
 

• Tables with a tablecloth will be set up for you.

• Where possible, we will assign you to a table within the career pathway you represent.

• Students will be released to attend the fair in small groups so that you can speak with them in a smaller ratio.

• Students will have a worksheet with them to help them engage with you and learn information.

Presenter Information:
 

• Provide any useful background information about your company, industry, or profession. Introduce yourself, your company and job title.

• Use visual aids from your company that will help the students understand what you do. If possible, make your presentation interactive with hands-on activities.

• Ask questions of the students, making it a two-way dialogue.

• Below is a list of the pathways we offer at South Doyle. Please look over this list and be prepared to discuss how some of these pathways dovetail with your given career. For example, a restauranteur would be extremely valuable to our students in the marketing or entrepreneurship pathway even though we do not offer culinary coursework.
