DESCRIPTION:This course is a 3.5 hour summary of the information covered in detail in the OSHA 10-Hour Construction course.  We emphasize fall exposures\, ladders\, scaffolds\, material handling\, personal protective equipment\, hand & power tools\, electrical hazards\, exposure from hazardous materials\, excavations\, and vehicle and equipment operation.  This course is a requirement of the Mid-South Mutual Insurance program. It should be completed by anyone in the company that is on-site frequently and has direct communications with on-site employees.  More than one person from each company may attend. This course is designed to help you better understand the hazards in your work area\, develop a sound safety program\, and reduce the potential of an accident from occurring.
