DESCRIPTION:Dear Members\,  Thanks to your time and hard work the Knox County Commission voted down the Hillside and Ridgetop Plan from MPC by a close vote of 6-5. It was your calls\, emails\, and time at County Commission meetings that made this possible. Thank you for all of your efforts.\n \n We have one more hurdle to complete. This Thursday April 28th at 5:00 pm is the first workshop in City Council for the Hillside and Ridgetop Plan from MPC. Even though Knox County has sent this back to MPC to start the process over to create a more reasonable plan\, the City of Knoxville can implement the old plan on its own. This would be harmful to the real estate and construction industry in Knox County.\n \n We need you to email and call your City Council member and ask them to suspend the workshop and vote down the Hillside and Ridgetop Plan from MPC. The City and County must use the same Hillside and Ridgetop Plan. To do otherwise would create confusion in the real estate market place at the worst possible time.\n \n Please email and call your City Council member and let them know how important this is.
