Throughout the symposium\, you will learn about the Runoff Reduction requirement coming on-line for new developments across the state in 2015. \; \; \; Additionally\, you will have the chance to hear from local Realtors about the economic benefits of low impact development. \; Presentation topics include: \; surveying\, planning\, design\, construction\, economics of low impact development\, BMP maintenance and regulatory compliance and policies. \;
This conference has grown over the years from the City of Knoxville's development seminar to a more wide reaching event. \; In 2013\, Knox County partnered with the City of Knoxville to hold the first Tennessee Stormwater Association (TNSA*) East Tennessee Development Symposium. \; That event attracted over 250 attendees. \; This year\, they are partnering with other East Tennessee municipalities to offer a 2-day conference that we hope doubles in attendance.
